There are very few things that bring us as much joy or responsibility as the arrival of a new puppy or kitten into our homes. Every day is full of adventure and discovery. What does or doesn't happen to a puppy during its first 3-4 months of life determines, in large part, whether he/she will develop into a good canine citizen and become a well-adjusted family member. This time frame is even shorter when dealing with a kitten. For this reason, the staff at Canyon Lake Veterinary Hospital is very dedicated to helping new pet owners take the proper training steps to help assure that these new additions to the family will develop good behavior habits. We also have many resources to help us with older adopties and pets that have been in the household for awhile that have behavior issues.
